Joe Allegretto, Instrucitonal Lead - Math and Multilingual Learners

Before joining the District 9 Team as an Instructional Lead for Math and Multilingual Learners, Joe Allegretto became a Teaching Fellow in District 9 first as an ENL Teacher/Coordinator and then as an Assistant Principal. Joe is passionate about instruction for multilingual learners and math, especially when they intersect! Outside of the New York City Public Schools, Joe has taught in France, China, Mauritania, and Senegal. While a California native, District 9 has been his home since moving to New York, where he is honored to support school communities, students, and families.
