Jennifer Albano, District 9 Intensive Reading Interventionist
As a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience in special education and literacy, Jennifer operates on a fundamental belief: every single child has the right to learn to read, every child is capable of reading, and it is our collective responsibility as adults to ensure they receive the exact instruction and support they need to get there. Her commitment to this mission stems from seeing firsthand how literacy transforms a student's life trajectory.
In her role as a District 9 Intensive Reading Interventionist, Jennifer works directly within schools to deliver evidence-based structured literacy interventions, administer diagnostic assessments, and accelerate reading achievement. Beyond direct student support, she partners with school teams, leaders, and educators to build the sustainable systems, foundational frameworks, and multi-tiered supports needed to guarantee reading success for all kids. Currently furthering her impact through graduate studies in School and District Leadership with a Literacy Focus, Jennifer is proud to serve District 9 in creating lasting literacy solutions across the community.
